I had a pretty good Friday night. Sarah, Erica and I got together and ended up going out to Hacienda for dinner. They were really busy, so we were there for a really long time, but we had a great time anyways! Good food, and good friends! After we finished with dinner, we ended up going to Walmart to do a little bit of shopping. I bought shampoo and new socks. Exciting, I know!! I handed the one package of socks to Aiden to hold, and he just played with those socks and chewed on them. We tried taking them away, and he got mad, so I just had to warn the cashier that the package was a little slobbery! She looked pretty disturbed, it was funny.
It took us a long time to get home because we were out on the other side of town, and they were doing the parade of lights in memory of the police officer who was shot and killed. I knew they did something like this when officers died, but I’ve never seen it before. It was really just painfully beautiful to see flashing lights as far as you could see in either direction.
We made it back to Erica’s though, and hung out for a couple of hours. Just goofing off, and looking up people on MySpace– to show each other people we knew, find people from high school, and see what they look like now. It started with Erica looking for the profile of the girl that got voted out in our version of “Lunch Table Survivor” back in high school to show Sarah. Long story there– needless to say, we were typical self-absorbed highschoolers.
