Pimping Your Blog
Part of having a blog is getting your voice out there. It’s kind of hard to do this if the only people reading your blog is your close circle of friends. There’s nothing wrong with that, and I’d be very sad if my friends stopped reading, but most people I know who blog are always looking for another way to put themselves out there and get a little more traffic. I know several people who have ordered business cards with their name and blog addresses on there. You know what I want? Promotional pens. You know what I’m talking about… they usually have a business name, address and phone number on them? I want pens that say Footprints on the Moon, http://www.footprintsonthemoon.com. Maybe with a little footprint icon next to that. I think that would be neat. And I just went to the site to check it out. I could get 300 pens with the design I just described for $99. I can’t afford it right now, but if I ever have an extra hundred bucks to spend, I think I know a good place to put it!

I love my promo pens
they’re a good alternative to a business card or in addition to the card. People are less likely to throw your pen in the trash or lose it!

Interesting idea.
With a personalised ones that you give away, it seems a nice idea to feel that your blog is being promoted in some way or another in other parts of the world!
