Footprints on the Moon

Here’s my Self Potrait for this week… taken and posted on Sunday! Woohoo! I look a little rough because it was really hot in here, and I was resisting turning on the air conditioning. I was also getting ready to leave for the afternoon because Steve, Erica, the baby and I all headed out to the outlet mall. That’s Erica that’s on the other end of the phone! I wanted to make sure I got a picture taken for today though… I don’t want to miss any more SPSs unless I have to.
And no, I don’t know why my eye is bloodshot like that.

You know what Sundays are good for? Infomercials. I mentioned in my last post that I’ve been sorting the stacks and stacks of junk mail I’ve been avoiding. Well, I’ve been sitting in the middle of my living room floor doing that while watching infomercials. I’m a closet infomercial junky. If I don’t flip off the channel right away, I’m hooked and I’ll watch to the end. It doesn’t matter if it’s for Hip-Hop Abs, Oxy Clean, the Magic Bullet, or Space Bags. If it’s on, I’m watching. And probably considering buying. I’ve purchased a few things off of infomercials, and I know others have different experiences, but I haven’t been disappointed.

I had such good intentions for this weekend, but it’s just not going to happen. I was going to really whip this apartment into shape, most specifically my bedroom which is a complete nightmare. But I spent all night Friday with Erica, and then I wasn’t home at all yesterday either! Erica and I went to breakfast and then out and about for awhile. I was home for about an hour and a half, but I was feeling icky, so I laid down for awhile instead of doing anything. Then Sarah and I were out and about until like 9pm, and she left about 11:30. Now today I just can’t get motivated. I’ve been going through the piles and piles of junk mail and bills into trash, shred and sort piles. So it’s definitely something that needs to be done, just not with the widespread, visual impact that I was going for in my productiveness this weekend. So it started out with good intentions, but it’s just not going to happen today. I did wash the dishes, and clean up in the kitchen, but my back’s hurting and so is my head, so I don’t think I’ll be doing much else that’s really involved.
