Footprints on the Moon

I have a new fundraising goal. It would seem, despite the amount of time spent crunching numbers and researching options, I won’t be needing an Orlando vacation home after all. I had pretty much decided I couldn’t swing Orlando in June anyway when they announced that PostieCon would be taking place in November… in Las Vegas! So I’m starting over again with the number crunching, and option researching. I really, really want to go in November. One, I would meet a ton of people that I talk to online all the time, and what’s better than that? And then secondarily, I’ve never been any further west than Missouri, and I’ve wanted to see Vegas for a while! It’s still quite aways off, and just before Christmas, so we’ll see… but I hope!

I need new pens. I think I’ve written before about the propensity of my pens to grow legs and walk away from my desk. They are of course, still doing this, which shouldn’t be a big deal since I have a desk drawer full of pens. But it is quite annoying as my desk drawer is full of gel pens, which I greatly dislike. Mainly because they end up all over my hands, and I’m not talented enough to write with them– they… fade out, for lack of a better word. So I like the regular cheapy ball point pens… and those of course, are the ones that people tend to snatch and walk away with. *sigh*
