That’s the question I was asking this morning. I figured I should get around to finally paying my rent for this month so that I don’t end up homeless, so I was going to put the check in an envelope and drop it off at the office on my way to work this morning. Except I couldn’t find the check anywhere. It was last seen on my computer desk, so I took everything off of it, and put it back… I looked under the desk, and in the surrounding area. I came up empty on the check, but I did find my checkbook. I ended up just writing another check… since I did that, you know when I get home the original check is going to be sitting somewhere in plain view because that’s just the way it works!
