There’s a brand new meme out there, and I’m jumping in. Cass and Loretta put their clever, crafty heads together and came up with an Online Craft Club (click the button above for more details). I have so many projects in various stages that it was hard for me to pick one to feature first. In the end I decided to snap a picture of the most recent baby blanket. My cousin is having a baby girl, due on Christmas day, so I really need to get working on this one. (Shh… I started the pink baby blanket before we had any idea whether it was a boy or a girl.) There’s really not much there to see, but it’s a basket weave.

Hopefully soon I’ll get motivated again, and I’ll be able to show you a little more progress on this one! Okay, I’m off to see who else has participated this first week!

I don’t think I want a bagless vacuum, no matter how neat they look. I can’t find a new belt for my vacuum, so my mom let me borrow hers. It worked fine for a little bit, but then it stopped working quite so nicely. So I took the canister out and pulled out the filters. *gag* First of all, it LOOKED awful… caked with dirt and hair. And the SMELL? Oh my goodness… no no no. There are no words. So I’m waiting on the pieces to dry so I can put the vacuum back together. I’m going to have to get out my Dirt Devil to clean up the mess that I made taking the vacuum apart. All I have to say is that I don’t ever want to see, smell or touch that kind of thing again. EW.
