Footprints on the Moon

I’m not moving… and I’ve said many times that I’m not willing to move out of the area. But it’s time for a confession. I was looking tonight at Wilmington NC real estate, and other areas in NC as well. Why? I don’t know… I really don’t want to leave Indiana. I’m not the type to want to live far away from my family. Especially now that I have a nephew that I want to watch grow up. When I get married and have babies, I want to be close to my family, and I want my kids to grow up with my brother’s kids. Keeping that in mind, moving across the country shouldn’t even be an option. But I like the idea of North Carolina. And that kind of scares me.

I got my hair cut short!! It was kind of an impulsive decision because I was planning on just getting a couple of inches cut off. Then she had me in the smock with the scissors to the first locks of hair when I said “No, cut it short short.” I had some brief moments of panic as the hair hit the floor, but I’m happy with it. What do you think?
