I had to laugh today… Janette’s been training me on a new task that I’m going to be taking over for her. It got me remembering when she was training me to take over the position that I’m in now. She was very thorough, down to discussing the plants in the lobby. I soon discovered there was a good reason for this– we have a lot of plants in here. One of the trees was real, the other was one of those silk trees. Apparently when she first started, she spent about three months watering one of our fake plants before discovering that it was in fact made out of plastic. That gave me a good chuckle. It was the most alive fake-plant I’ve ever seen!

I was a little disappointed this morning to have to close the comments on one of my favorite posts here. Okay, you can argue that I didn’t have to, but that’s the decision I came to. Apparently there are many people on the internet that can’t recognize a joke when they see one. Now, I don’t have a problem with people disagreeing with me. What I do have a problem with is people giving their dissenting opinion so rudely. ((Don’t bother checking for their comments, they were not approved.)) By the time I woke up this morning, some of the comments were bordering on abusive, but certainly were childish.
