Can you believe it is already the second day of December? I sure can’t!! I just don’t know where this year went.
I took this picture this morning when I was getting ready to leave for my Grandma’s. What you can’t see is that I’m not wearing any pants! LOL I did eventually put some on, and leave for the day. My grandma cooked, and it was GOOD. Meatloaf, parsley potatoes, corn, homemade macaroni and cheese, rolls… yum yum yum. I ate until I couldn’t eat anymore! And then we busted out the strawberry shortcake that my mom brought.
Once our food-induced stupor wore off, we’ve moved on to the reason for our gathering in the first place– decorating the tree. This makes 3 trees that I’ve decorated this year, though the one at Grandma’s is arguably the best looking one. As for now, I’m starting to get hungry again, but I still have no food in my apartment. I’m waiting on some laundry to finish, so I’ll be up for at least another hour and a half waiting on that. If it weren’t raining so hard outside, I might run out and get something. As it is, I think I’ll just try and rustle up a can of soup or something. Maybe a grilled cheese sandwich… who knows.
