New Year’s Snow
I had signed off the internet for the evening when I realized that I hadn’t blogged over here (or anywhere else for that matter) yet today. Since that’s not exactly how I’d like to start off my blogging of 2008, I came back long enough to write something. I’m watching the Biggest Loser and crocheting. Well, NOW I’m blogging, but I’ll be back to crocheting as soon as this is posted.
New Year’s Day in Indiana can be summed up with SNOW. It started last night, and basically never stopped. I think the news earlier said that we’d gotten about 12 inches so far, and we have more projected for tonight and tomorrow. Personally I’m just hoping to wake up tomorrow and find that the company I work for is on the closings list. Not that I particularly want to spend another day trapped inside my apartment, but I don’t want to have to wade through snow half way up to my knees to clean off my car and try to get to work in one piece either.
I’ll share with you a short video I made last night. It was snowing a lot harder than it looks like in the video, but that’s kind of a hard thing to capture. And do I really sound like that? My voice in that video made me cringe.
I took this picture last night, of my car, and a car that hadn’t left the parking lot since the snow started. You can see my footprints (the snow was over my ankles). You can see the bottom edge of my car in that picture… the snow will now probably fall into my car when I open my car door in the morning.
The second picture is one I took from my window this afternoon. I should’ve taken my camera down to take a similar picture to the one I took last night.

Video! Very cool. I think your voice sounds fine. I am about to make my first video and TRY to figure out how to get it on YouTube AND post it to my blog. What was the crappy music your neighbors were playing? I hope you got to work safely! Hey Jenn–are you a Christian?

[...] January, 2008 started with at least 12 inches of snow. I took a trip down memory lane and shared pictures of me as a baby and from my high school years. [...]
