Vacation is Over
Today was proof that the vacation is definitely over. I didn’t get an actual vacation, but I may as well have. With the holidays and shut down, I haven’t had much to do at work for the last couple of weeks. I did not have that problem today!! The phone rang to the point where I thought I might go insane.
I had a really big frustration though… In addition to my regular receptionist duties, I process work orders for the maintenance department. Work to be done, and work completed. They didn’t turn hardly any work orders in over the last couple of weeks. This morning, all the supervisors turned in THREE WEEKS worth of work orders! The stack of papers was 6 inches thick!! I entered numbers until I just couldn’t enter numbers anymore. It wouldn’t have been so bad– at least I had something to do!!– except I developed a headache just before lunch that still hasn’t gone away.
The rain did eventually stop, and the sun came out for awhile so that was good. All the same, I’m ready for today to be over. I’m watching the end of the Biggest Loser, and then I’ll be headed to bed. See you tomorrow!

That was rotten for them to pile all of those on you at once. I hope your headache went away. It might have been brought on by the weather change. Hugs for you.
