It was glorious! The sun actually was OUT and shining for most of the day today. It’s amazing what it did for my mood, too! Sadly, it didn’t help a lot of the other people I work with because 90% of the employees are cube dwellers with no windows. It started getting gray around 2 pm or so. I was disappointed, but the sun lasted much longer today than it has the rest of the week. It gives me hope that spring is actually coming eventually.

In the meantime, I’ve been dreaming about going somewhere warm. I keep hearing commercials on the radio for the discount airline’s deals for Vegas. Book a hotel, buy one flight, the second person flies free. Trust me, I would LOVE to choose a Las Vegas hotel, book a flight and go spend some time in the desert with my friend Julie. Unfortunately, vacations are not in the Dave Ramsey debt reduction plan. Boo… I guess I’ll have to keep waiting. Daylight savings time this weekend, and I’ll be back to driving to work in the pitch black. I’ll try not to see it as a step backwards. Darn Mitch Daniels and his DST!
