I’m Not Irish, But Kiss Me Anyways

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I’m not really into celebrating St. Patty’s day, but kudos to all of you who are. Around here, it’s mainly about cabbage, and green beer, neither of which I’m remotely interested in. Mainly I just wear green so that I don’t have to spend the entire day fielding comments such as “But where’s your green?” and “Ooh! I get to pinch you!” Seriously? Didn’t we outgrow that in the third grade?

For the most part, people kept their thoughts to themselves today. I was prepared for a bigger onslaught of comments, since my uniform is white and black. I do have green earrings on, so maybe there were some really observant people who noticed. Or maybe I’m finally working with enough people that don’t care who is or is not wearing green! Well, whatever the reason, I’m grateful that I can count the comments I received today on one hand.

How about you? Did you proudly wear green today, or spend the day defending your decision not to?

Ah, the perks of working in an office alone! LOL I get to wear whatever I want, even if it’s nothing at all….

Ethan was the only one of the boys that didn’t wear anything green to school yesterday. He wore blue pants and a Jeff Gordon sweatshirt…
