Cold Shower
It’s that time of year again already… the time of year where I dread getting in the shower. Now, don’t get me wrong, I have no problems showering, and I do generally like to be, well, clean. However. At this time of year, I have to give myself a little pep talk just to be able to step into my walk in bath (*snort*) in the mornings.
I may have mentioned this before (and I’d be surprised if I haven’t because I complain about it all the time), but my bathroom doesn’t really have a heat source. The only heat in the bathroom is a heat-a-vent in the ceiling, which has a coil similar to an electric stove, which gets hot when you turn it on. The bathtub, however, is on an outside wall of my apartment. You can probably see where this is going. That’s right… when the temperature drops outside, that bathtub shower gets positively frigid! Not exactly conducive to wanting to disrobe and hose off. I could tell that we’ve entered that part of the year when I had to spend a minute or two this morning convincing myself that I was, in fact, NOT going to go to work dirty today.
Buying a house someday wishlist: a bathroom with it’s OWN HEATING VENT!

Yep, I can relate to that. Back in the military (I’m from Europe – mandatory draft), we had a week in December, when the shower-room window was broken… You can imagine…
