Yes, that’s right. Amazon has spent the last week screwing with me.
You see, I ordered a new camera with my tax return money. I placed the order on Monday, and all the items in my order (camera, batteries, memory card, case, etc.) were coming from Amazon except for one. By Monday afternoon, I’d gotten a shipping notification for the battery charger that was coming from another seller.
That battery charger, which you see pictured up top there, arrived on Wednesday. It also arrived with a box from Amazon. In that box was the extra set of batteries. Interesting that those two items came together. So then I got online to check on the shipment of the other items in my order, and Amazon told me they wouldn’t be shipping until Tuesday the 16th. Waaah! I had to sit on my hands to keep from changing my shipping to one or two day.
Of course, by Friday afternoon, I’d gotten an email to let me know that the rest of my order had shipped. A quick log-in to Amazon told me that it has an estimated arrival date of Thursday the 18th. Oh yeah, and they wouldn’t be updating my tracking info for three days. Now I’m convinced that they are just screwing with me. I wouldn’t be surprised to receive a box with something like Anilox in it… just to say HAHA! You thought it was your camera! Sucker!
Anyways… that charger that I did get? It’s awesome. It’s not cheap, obviously, but it really does charge batteries in 15 minutes! It’s not quiet– it’s got a fan that runs the whole time it is plugged in, but that’s not too obnoxious. The charger also comes with a power adapter for your car. That will be very convenient for traveling or for holidays where I’m taking lots of pictures and going from one gathering to another. I had fun charging batteries for about half an hour, but now I’d like to get my camera so I can put those charged batteries IN something. Okay Amazon? Thanks!
